Q. MY SAUNA DOES NOT REACH 158°F

A. The infrared sauna is designed to reach a maximum temperature of 115-130°F at the end of a 60-minute session so long as the starting ambient air temperature is between 68-72°F. It is not designed to reach 158°F this ensures that the sauna stays on throughout your session emitting the therapeutic infrared waves.

Q. HOW SHOULD I USE MY SAUNA?

A. We recommend using the sauna between 3-5 times a week with sessions lasting no more than 45-minutes each. You may want to start off with shorter sessions initially and then increase as you get more comfortable. You should only stay inside the sauna for as long as you are comfortable.

Q. THE SAUNA HAS A REALLY STRONG CEDAR SMELL, WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT?

A. We recommend running the sauna for a few sessions with the door open to help reduce the Cedar smell. You can also seal the wood to help reduce the smell as well. Alternatively, we also can provide Basswood which may work as a better option for people who don’t like the smell of cedar.

Q. I ORDERED CEDAR AND THE WOOD DOES NOT MATCH?

A. We supply Western Red Canadia Cedar, which comes in a range of colors from light yellow to a deep reddish brown. We select the lumber on quality, not color match. Alternatively, we also supply Basswood which is a lighter color wood and is more consistent in color.

Q. ONE OF MY HEATERS HAS STOPPED WORKING?

A. Call 800-798-1779 ext 8000 and a representative will help you troubleshoot the issue.

Q. CAN MY KIDS USE THE SAUNA?

A. We do not recommend children use the sauna.

Q. THE SAUNA IS WARM BUT I’M NOT SWEATING

A. Not everyone sweats a lot in an infrared sauna, some people can work up a sweat easily while others may not. This is fine as you’re still receiving the benefits of the infrared waves. You can try the following techniques to increase production:

  • Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your sauna session.

  • Take a hot shower prior to using the sauna to help open up your pores.

  • Use a dry brush to increase circulation and remove debris from the skin.

Q. MY SAUNA IS STARTING FROM A LOWER TEMPERATURE THAN THE MANUAL STATES (SUB 68°F) WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS?

A. Make sure you insulate the walls according to your local climate. Locate and seal any drafts or air leaks.
