Combination Sauna with Far-Infrared and a Traditional Heater

Combination Sauna with Far-Infrared and a Traditional Heater

We offer a combination of both traditional sauna and Far Infrared panels for higher-temperature therapeutic sauna.  They are available in 240-volt and conform to UL standard 875 and ETL/Intertek certified.

Please note that combination sauna systems are designed to operate concurrently and rated for dry environments only.

INFRARED ONLY VS. COMBINATION

The basic differences between a combination sauna vs an infrared-only sauna are as follows:

Combination Sauna

The traditional sauna heater will do most of the heating in the room. This type of sauna will be warmer; 194°F temperature range at the ceiling height. I would place far-infrared panels around the benches where the user will receive the infrared benefits. A combination sauna will limit the seating available because we have to keep the infrared panels away from the traditional heater.

  • This is best for sauna users who prefer higher temperature therapy.

  • You won't be able to add accessories like our light kits, color light therapy, or salt therapy because they are not rated for the high temperatures produced by the traditional sauna heater.

Far-Infrared Only

This type of sauna is a lower temperature sauna therapy (115°F-130°F). While a traditional sauna heater heats the air, far-infrared heaters increase the user's core temperature causing the user to lose more toxins/heavy metals.

  • Sauna users may prefer infrared only as they can sit in the sauna for a full 60-minute session due to the lower temperature therapy.

  • Allows for more seating than saunas with traditional sauna heaters.

  • All accessories can be included with this heater type. In addition to the accessories we offer, the lower-temperature sauna also allows users to bring in electronics such as speakers or tablets without fear of damage.

Traditional Sauna

We offer a variety of traditional sauna models. They are available in 240-volt and conform to UL standard 875 and ETL/Intertek certified.
